I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:10, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Sturmvogel 66: - can we get this done this week? I'd like to put this to bed in 2019 and next week is slightly busier ;) Parsecboy (talk) 19:06, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And right after I nagged you about this, I got hit with some kind of stomach bug that had me mostly bed ridden...that'll show me, eh? Parsecboy (talk) 15:25, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
More like perfect timing from your wife's POV!
  • One DAB to Pacific Fleet, external links OK
    • Fixed - where was the DAB bot when you need it?
      • There's still one in the early careers section. Since it's redundant to the one in the lede, you could just get rid of the link instead.
        • Done
  • Images appropriately licensed. The infobox photo looks washed out, can you fix that?
    • I'll see what I can do
      • Alright, I darkened it a bit - see how it looks now.
        • Better, but a bit too dark, IMO. Not a big deal.
        • Tried something else, see if that looks better.
  • Link foundered in the lede
    • Done
  • In the infobox link long ton, kW, standard; link and abbreviate nautical miles. Abbreviate indicated hp. Decide on either MW or kW. Round the draft to one significant digit everywhere.
    • Should be all done
      • Missed standard displacement
        • Got it now
  • Be consistent about capitalizing Standard-type or not.
    • Fixed
  • Since the deck "thicker" deck
    • Done
  • Why "return" to steam turbines?
    • The New Yorks were both VTE
      • I'd forgotten that
  • Comported?
    • What's wrong with that?
      • Archaic term in that usage, according to my dictionary
        • I dunno that it's archaic, but I swapped it out with "aligned" anyway
  • In design section, link long ton.
    • Done
  • Copy-paste error with California.
    • I don't think that was copy-paste, I think that was me forgetting what ships were in the class
  • Was Okie given TE engines for direct comparison with turbines?
    • I don't recall Friedman saying as much
  • Need to explain /45 nomenclature
    • Added the note
  • Link elevation, flying-off platform, director
    • Done
      • Try this link instead: [[Flight deck#Early flight decks|Flying-off platforms]]
        • Probably better to just turn it into a redirect to that for future use
  • They had a 3 in unclear antecedent, "The ships"?
    • Done
  • uptakes to from
    • Fixed
  • a series of rolling changes "rolling"?
    • I suppose that's not correct in this context
  • cite tag in the mod section. If covered by Friedman, remove it.
    • Fixed
  • Link to the class article for North Dakota and explain why she was scrapped before completion
    • Done
  • At some point in 1941, she was fitted with an SC air search radar. Which ship?
    • Fixed
  • Delete the Decommissioned column, kinda misleading as Okie was unavailable long before '44.
    • True
  • standard type battleships were too slow add hyphen
    • Done
  • as they were by that time the oldest battleships in service with the US Navy Incorrect. The New Yorks were older
    • Doh
  • its homeport San Pedro, California to Missing commas
    • Fixed
  • Ampersand for Prange.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:43, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
