I appreciate all of the work that's been put into this, but please don't let this page get cluttered. It's already a bit much for a page about a neighborhood which while important probably doesn't merit this much information. In fact, some consolidation and refinement may be in order. I suggest people look through other similar pages to see how they structure these type of pages. What we don't need is for this to become some kind of catch-all overly dynamic "current events" page for the neighborhood/district. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:16, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, you can not keep adding every new development or redevelopment in the district. That's really not what wikipedia is for. This thing is getting unwieldy. Particularly stuff about housing needs to be taken out unless it's part of a large development in a significant structure. This is getting ridiculous. Go look at other neighborhood pages to see the standards on wiki. This really makes Detroit look bad and provincial, quite frankly, aside from this being non-standard edits. --Criticalthinker (talk) 14:37, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I edited this section down to a more manageable level. Andrew Jameson (talk) 11:36, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for this. BTW, if anyone has the time, since New Center is something of a transportation center in the city, perhaps a "Transportation" sub-category would be impressive to consolidate information about the city's Amtrak station and M-1 Rail terminus (along with any bus lines that may serve the area). --Criticalthinker (talk) 06:48, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For the millionth time, people, this is not "add every new announced development." This is not a page to keep up on individual redevelopment projects until we're talking high-rises or major infrastructure changes. --Criticalthinker (talk) 15:51, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

And here we go again adding every announcement for every project to this page. Jeeze, just add a timeline and be done with this. This is not meant as a meticulous journal for New Center redevelopment and development. Someone needs to see how other pages for neighborhoods are done on wiki. --Criticalthinker (talk) 18:42, 31 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I might suggest that the editor who's adding the list of redevelopments may want to participate in the discussion here before (or rather than) adding every redevelopment announcement to the article. Andrew Jameson (talk) 16:26, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
