All right, let's get started. It's an interesting read; short but sweet, and for a short state route, quite in-depth.

It is reasonably well written.

The prose reads quite smoothly all across and I would say is well written. It meets the manual of style guidelines to meet 1b, as well.
It is factually accurate and verifiable.

Well sourced. References are well used and all appear to be active and reliable.
It is broad in its coverage.

It's a short article, but since the article's subject is a 6 mile long state route, I would say the coverage for the subject is adequate. The route tracing and history provide enough, in my opinion, to meet 3a.
It follows the neutral point of view policy.
Fair representation without bias:
Doesn't appear to be any POV issues here.
It is stable.
No edit wars, etc.:
Limited editing as of late, indicates article is stable. No massive swings of information or edit warring.
It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.

All images are free, and used adequately. The article is very nicely illustrated with these.

I would say we definitely meet the GA criteria at this time. For a short article, it is quite well written and well sourced. Well done!

One minor correction can be made. NY 171 is said to be the only route that doesn't connect to any other, however the southern section of NY 878 in Nassau County doesn't connect to any other route either. (the north section of NY 878 in NYC does connect to NY 27, but the two sections of Y 878 are not connected to each other.)  — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Kirschner (talk • contribs) 02:58, 14 January 2016 (UTC) 
Also NY 440 on Staten Island meets no other NYS route. It meets NJ 440 at both ends, and I-278, but no other NYS route.  — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Kirschner (talk • contribs) 17:15, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
