Route Shield (reference marker)[edit]

I’m lost, sort of...I tried to create and upload a NY-920D.svg image and match it to the color of the existing 940U.svg image, although I used a NYSDOT publication (which works in metric) for dimensions, placement, character size, etc. Looked good on screen; I used Inkscape on my Mac. But once uploaded it made the color more yellowish, and substituted the font to what looks like Helvetica (I used Roadgeek C). I want to do more routes, and even create .svg images of the appropriate reference markers without having to rely on others, but right now I’m not succeeding. On my personal page the shield shows up, but it doesn't appear on the 920D article infobox (I followed the 940U article and left out only the |junction= tag). So I’m open to suggestions - either here, or probably more appropriately, my talk page. Fwgoebel 22:03, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
