Untitled[edit]

The article is badly in need of an update and expansion. Bobby Robinson (the Fire and Fury labels) should be named as a key producer of NYC blues artists. The NYC blues scene of the 1990s isn't mentioned at all, yet it produced Shemekia Copeland, The Holmes Brothers, Popa Chubby, Satan and Adam (my group), Frankie Paris. I talk about the NYC blues style in my book, Journeyman's Road: Modern Blues Lives from Faulkner's Mississippi to Post-9/11 New York (Tennessee, 2007). --Adam Gussow 74.229.164.106 (talk) 02:40, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As the blues and jazz section of Music of New York City links to this page, I submit that part of its text be made available on this page. --Jaychman (talk) 17:39, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
