"Given to the nation" - tagged as a dubious claim[edit]

In 2017, two Assyrian reliefs were removed from Newbattle Abbey and sold for £8 million. See https://www.theartnewspaper.com/news/tory-peer-involved-in-controversial-sale-of-iraqi-antiquities?
