First on TV or first ever?[edit]

The article correctly describes Nia as the first transgender superhero on television; wouldn't it be correct to describe her as the first in filmed media, period? There hasn't been a trans superhero on film before either (with Marvel Studios making the big deal about an upcoming film featuring the first). I'm not familiar enough with all the different comics to say whether there's been a trans superhero before Nia in that medium. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 16:05, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
