Some of the information contained in this article has been disputed. A user claims that Martinez is a shooter, not an archer, and that Nicaragua will not be represented in the men's volleyball. This despite the fact that Xinhua says that Martinez is an archer, and says that Nicaragua will be competing in the men's volleyball. Xinhua may be wrong, but it is a reputable source. If the information provided by Xinhua is incorrect, then the user removing / altering it must provide a source which proves that it is indeed incorrect. If I understand Wikipedia's policy correctly, any removal of properly sourced information replaced with unsourced information should be reverted. I refer to Wikipedia:Verifiability. The issue now appears to have been resolved. I've edited the article to indicate that the sources are contradictory. In particular, the blatant contradiction regarding Nicaragua's participation or not in volleyball needs to be addressed. Until someone can state conclusively whether it is the International Volleyball Federation or the official website of the Beijing Olympics which is mistaken, I suggest that the current wording, which simply states that the sources provide contradictory information, be retained. Non-participation of Nicaragua in volleyball confirmed. Case closed. Aridd (talk) 23:08, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
