Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... other players for the same clubs that Nick has played for have Wikipedia pages (such as this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Tabiri), with equal notability. Nick has also had an international career at junior level for Greece and is mentioned on other wikipedia pages - for example, the Bishop's Stortford F.C. page, as member of their squad. --Tron reboot (talk) 15:00, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I still think he fails WP:FOOTBAll.TheLongTone (talk) 15:03, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Could you be more precise? I still don't know what you consider would make him notable, nor do you state why the other footballers in his squads qualify when he doesn't, etc. Your reasons are opaque. Tron reboot (talk) 19:28, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And just to add that Salapatas has played professionally in the english leagues. Tron reboot (talk) 22:57, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Otherstuffexists is not a reason to keep a page. NB -- Tron has been blocked. Epeefleche (talk) 23:43, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • My being blocked (for edits on a completely unrelated page) is not a reason for deleting this one. I have made a link now from the Bishop's Stortford F.C. page to this one because Salapatas is in their current squad. Hence this page is no longer an orphan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tron reboot (talkcontribs) 09:00, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
