Not well characterised[edit]

I have changed the article to reflect the fact that currently Ni2O3 has not been well characterised i.e. no definitive crystal structure ahs been determined, although its existence has been inferred by many workers. Black nickel oxide is not Ni2O3 but may contain traces of Ni(III)- one supplier INCO descibes it as being NiO with some hydroxide----Axiosaurus (talk) 09:52, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Entry[edit]

The following line is confusing...

plus is fable 3 There are references in the literature...

I don't understand the "plus is fable 3". It may be a remnant of editing, but I don't feel qualified to 'fix it'. Jack (talk) 00:45, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nickel oxide hydroxide[edit]

should Nickel oxide hydroxide not have its own wikipedia page?

Fake image?[edit]

The article states that the compound is not well characterized and that traces have been found, but it is illustrated with an image with a considerable amount of it? Surely it must be a completely different compound in the picture.
