stub[edit]

hi. I don't see why this article is part of Psychology stubs. A night light is surely a consumer electronics item...—Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.137.96.79 (talkcontribs) 05:27, 22 November 2006

Nearsightedness[edit]

There exists a news report that states that night lights (i.e.: light while the child is asleep) can cause learning disorders. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.49.167.88 (talk • contribs) .

Some web research indicates that the studies are at best inconclusive; I edited the article to cite a couple of them. MCB 05:56, 4 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

lumens/watt[edit]

To me, this is a physics/electronics subject. It should discuss the various colors, which vary with technology. We want to know lumens/watt for standard 4W/7W 120VAC E12 candelabra bulbs. And now that cheap LED nightlights are common, we want to know lumens/watt for them.-69.87.204.2 20:23, 15 May 2007 (UTC) =][reply]
