Fake...? Automatic correction of lateral chromatic aberration?[edit]

This article states "Some of the improvements the D90 offers over the D80 include 12.3 megapixel resolution, live view capability and automatic correction of lateral chromatic aberration." Many have supposed that the D300 has this feature and some speculate that the D90 has it as well. Nikon is silent on the issue. I have had to manually correct lateral chromatic aberration in photos I took with my D90 and Nikkor 85mmm f/1.8. Can anyone confirm the existance of this feature in either the D300 or the D90? Chromatic aberration is only corrected in JPEGs, but not RAW files. More on that at dpreview. Rror (talk) 01:44, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vignette Control?[edit]

This article also states that there is 'Vignette Control' in camera. Official Nikon materials make no mention of 'Vignette Control', although a number of sites such as Dpreview says the D90 has 'Vignette Control'. I'll remove it for now. SCΛRECROW 02:35, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reverie shot with D90?[edit]

Sound sample rate[edit]

"The sound recording has a fairly low sampling rate (11 kHz, Mono, compared to the 48 kHz, Stereo sound recorded by most dedicated video cameras)" dpreview. The article says 22kHz. What is correct? -- Smial (talk) 16:11, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Street prices"[edit]

I've removed the bit in the intro which claimed that "Street prices were generally lower." (Lower than Nikon's suggested retail prices.) The sources cited to support this were product searches done in 2012 - four years after the D90 came out, and after the successor model (the D7000) had come out. Naturally prices had fallen by that point (and they're MUCH lower now), but at the time when the D90 was Nikon's newest model in that line, most retailers charged Nikon's suggested retail price to buy it new. -2003:CA:8731:F013:58BB:24BC:B72C:A832 (talk) 14:35, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
