Who is contesting this page be deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Meij.kobayashi (talkcontribs) 15:40, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it should be deleted, it's a noteworthy market campaign made by Nokia even if made over pure vapourware... nihil (talk) 07:47, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not vaporware, just a concept phone. May be notable, but it definitely wasn't promised to be an actual release. AniRaptor2001 18:02, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I thought this was an encyclopaedia, not a billboard. Surely all this unsubstantiated twoddle about nanotechnology and self-cleaning has no place in a factual resource? If the page is to be kept it needs some heavily cynical editing along the lines of "wild and unsupported claims were made about..."? Brunnian (talk) 11:28, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone through the article and given it a complete rework. It now describes the phone as a non-functional study of the imagined future applications of nanotechnology in the mobile phone arena. I think there's merit to keeping it in here; according to Nokia, they consulted with the nanotech institute at Cambridge, so the concepts aren't totally baseless. On the other hand, it seems like it's nearly impossible to find any info on this thing that wasn't weaned from the press releases; I've found one picture of the phone's display online, and it doesn't sound like it's at the MOMA anymore. But there's hope yet! Here and here is news of a Nokia-Cambridge research collaboration extending beyond just a silly plastic dummy phone. AniRaptor2001 (talk) 21:57, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good effort! Brunnian (talk) 22:23, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
