Connection problem when updating a phone[edit]

Should there be a mention of a problem I faced when updating phone firmware: Ovi suite does not connect Nokia server if ICS Internet connection Sharing is on.--RicHard-59 (talk) 17:33, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Privacy[edit]

I was hoping for some clarification on this. There is mention of having to have an account and suchlike which makes me think that data is to be stored on an Internet server, not my PC, but I can not see where this is either explicitly admitted or denied. As I recall PC Suite integrated itself too much into my PC, maybe I should be wary of its successor. 149.254.120.140 (talk) 13:34, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Identical to Nokia Care Suite?[edit]

It is not clear if similarly named software, Nokia Care Suite, is or is not identical to the subject of this article, Nokia Suite. --Mortense (talk) 12:03, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The answer is no. Nokia Care Suite seems to be for Lumia phones and even for them it is useless unless you can download firmware from somewhere else.

This has been discontinued[edit]

Hey, Nokia Suite has been discontinued, and you can't download it anymore. The links are dead. It would be nice if someone could update the article to reflect this. :) 607 (talk) 14:30, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Broken link[edit]

The link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=51237 is (effectively) broken. --Mortense (talk) 17:22, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

More (effectively) broken links[edit]

The "Official website" link, http://www.nokia.com/us-en/support/product/nokia-suite/, redirects to a generic support page.

For the "Nokia Suite at the Microsoft Download Centre" link:

'We're sorry, this download is no longer available.'
