Because Norker is a fictional character being used outside of D&D.L3X1 (talk) 01:40, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
What other Wikipedia articles are named "Norker"? Disambiguation pages are only permitted to contain links to existing Wikipedia articles. bd2412T 03:27, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If DAB pages only contain links to existing articles what is up with [DAB]? It explains what is meant my fiction's numerous mentions to Ettin, but doesn't require a full article on each one. The topic I am monitoring uses "norker" as a short, blue, humanoid with long pointy ears, known for their craft/wisdom and dishonesty. Obviously not the D&D norker. A DAB page would contain the link to D&D norker, while also providing a definition for the other type.L3X1 (talk) 13:06, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Can you establish the absence of a WP:PRIMARY TOPIC? Otherwise, it sounds like you are proposing a WP:TWODABS situation, based only on a WP:DABMENTION. Also be aware that in order to move a page with incoming links to create a disambiguation page, you must go through WP:RM. Cheers! bd2412T 22:22, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There is a Primary topic, so I'll look into inserting a hatnote if appropriate. Thanks for your help!L3X1 (talk) 23:32, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for integrating the link, I couldn't figure out how. L3X1 (talk) 02:52, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
