Closure of Exhibition Line[edit]

According to Brunswick Street, Bowen Hills and Beyond, only the section from Exhibition to Bowen Hills/Mayne was closed, in 1900. The track was not lifted. Goods and passenger services were maintained between Roma Street and Exhibition. Normanby station was not closed at this time. (But it was closed in 1966.)
