NorthPark’s Claim as the first[edit]

NorthPark has repeatedly claimed that it is the first, largest climate-controlled retail establishment in the world.

This is not true. Southdale Center in the Minneapolis suburb of Edina was the first, opening in 1956, predating NorthPark by nine years. Many other malls were built between 1957 and 1964, further disputing this claim. Dma124 (talk) 11:00, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What effect is the demise of Neiman Marcus going to have on Northpark Center?[edit]

In all the south, one couldn't get any better than where Neiman Marcus met up with Northpark Center at the location of Central Expressway in Dallas Texas. With Neiman Marcus bleeding out along with all the other traditional stores, along with the heavy social agenda of the city of Dallas running off business to elsewhere, what is to become of Northpark Center? 2600:387:A:9:0:0:0:1B (talk) 13:40, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To call Northpark Center an upscale mall is correct. Many mistakenly refer to it as a luxury mall.[edit]

Northpark Center has more than just luxury stores. It is going to have far more flagship stores customized just for it. And it prides itself on being something akin to a private museum. Its architecture is smartly understated like the world famous Kimball Arts Museum in Fort Worth. 2600:387:A:9:0:0:0:1B (talk) 15:43, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
