Neologism[edit]

This entire article seems to have been based on a WP:NEOLOGISM. It defines a "North African American" as "an American citizen of North African descent or a North African that has American citizenship." However, a Google search of the term "North African American" used in this context almost exclusively instead turns up hits on the North Africa American Cemetery and Memorial in Tunisia or on African Americans in relation to the direction north [1]. Per the neologism policy and WP:COMMONNAME, the article will therefore have to be renamed to one that actually has some currency in the literature. This article is incorrect and the people who created it don't know context. "North African" only refers to the people of the Maghreb region(Libya to Morocco), not Egyptians. "North African" is not an ethnicity just like "West Asian" is not an ethnicity and this is why we don;t have "West Asian" American article in here because it is nonsensical. People from Egypt all the way to Iran Are Middle Easterners, they don't go by "North African or West Asian". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:642:C401:6B10:A552:F022:BA1F:9927 (talk) 10:46, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
