Photographs of the artwork[edit]

Should photographs of the artwork be included in the article? Perhaps a gallery? Or examples of the different art per section (e.g. a painting for the Italian section, the African, etc..)? I have some photos that I recently took at the museum that I would be more than happy to upload. --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 14:59, 14 November 2010 (UTC) Agreed- there is plenty on their web-site that is not copyright protected that could be used. Units[edit]

Should the size of the grounds be in square kilometers, or should it be in hectares? Obviously both are units of area, but hectares seem more typical when converting from acres, and the fractional number seems awkward. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.190.200.100 (talk) 04:37, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Minor editing issue with capitalization[edit]

Perhaps the rules on capitalizing common nouns is changing since I attended school, but I do not believe the word "museum" presented alone, as it was throughout this article prior to my edit, should be capitalized. I understand why a writer would be inclined to capitalize the word 'museum' when it refers back to the proper noun subject of the article, in this case 'North Carolina Museum of Art.' However, I do not believe this is correct. I have noticed more articles capitalizing common nouns in this same manner, but obviously, just because something is gaining usage does not necessarily make it correct. Just to be certain, I read over wiki's article on capitalization, and there was nothing to suggest "museum" should be capitalized, even if it does refer back to the proper noun subject of the article. I also consulted the article on the Metropolitan Museum of Art in two different online encyclopedias, and neither capitalized the word museum when it stood alone. If anyone believes I am incorrect, please feel free to undo my edit, but if possible, please argue your case or provide a link. Thanks.
