Hey guys,

The page looks great. It is easy to read, informative, organized and comprehensive. The information box on the right side of the page looks very similar to other lacrosse sites on wiki, ex. Maryland Terrapins men's lacrosse and Duke Blue Devils men's lacrosse. The page looks like it can be updated pretty regularly and I think that it will fit into Wikipedia well. Some things, I kinda wish you used a different picture, the one you use is on the Duke page. More pictures in general would add more color to the page and could serve as a visual guide through the history of the program, check on the New York Yankees. Even though its baseball this page does a really good job of using pictures. Also, the section on the "Joe Breschi Era" seems to run together during the beginning. It makes sense but it has an odd flow. This may be corrected by a user later or you can if you want.

Overall, I think that the page looks like everything has gone well. The sources look reliable and the information is presented very well for a live page. I've seen a few in text errors, but I think those will be fixed in time, especially since this page will probably be updated by either you or another user regularly. Good work, the page has given me some information that I may have never come across. The program looks to be on the rise. Jherion (talk) 15:58, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Your group's entry is pretty neat! It's well organized and I like it how you categorized the content into each coaches era. This somehow made it easier to follow up in historical order. Also each charts under categories was useful and convenient to sum up each seasonal records. One suggestion is that if you can find any articles about the team, provide a link for people who might want more stuff to read about.Yejung03 (talk) 16:21, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey,

Going over the page, I thought this page was very well done. It was very well organized and structured that I could easily find out about "North Carolina Tar Heels men's lacrosse". It also contained lots of reliable information. I really liked the part that was on the right part(I don't know how to explain, the part with our school log). I think you guys have categorized the information very well so I do not think there should be changed there. One thing I might suggest is that there should be some information about the team members. Also I agree that there should be some kind of a link to more information about the team so that people who might want to know more can see it.

Most of the page was very neatly completed. I believe this page will soon become one completed wikipedia page that others can very convenietly use. Gyungho (talk) 18:23, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very professional! You've done a great job of using templates to present the information in the style of other Wikipedia articles about sports teams. Generally my compliments are similar to those above, but I do have some different suggestions:

- You do need to be careful to avoid bias in your writing - most of it is fine, but you go a little heavy with the adjectives (rich, immense, etc), and this weakens the value of this as an impartial article. Likewise, some of the writing style, especially when describing the tenures of the different coaches, can get a little essay-like, which will attract criticism from other editors. The history section at the start is great, and this style (especially internal references) should be applied throughout - that will prevent the text appearing unnecessarily dense.

- when you are referencing, it's not clear what information came from which source - and if indeed any significant sources other than the tarheelblue website were used. The more you can make substantial reference to other sources, the better.
- final point - a few more pictures would be great, and I can see that there are a number of relevant images on Wikimedia Commons already. Laichena (talk) 19:15, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

First of all great job on the article. The page is well written and really easy to follow. The tables provide an extra something that I think adds greatly to this page's presentation. There are a few minor changes that I would suggest. The picture used is great, but it is also the one used on the Duke wiki page. I know I clicked on the Duke link and it took me a second to realized that I had even changed pages because the picture is the same and almost in the same exact location. In the Coach John Haus section in there is a single "h" in the sentence on the second to last line that needs to be removed. The beginning of the Coach Joe Breschi section is a bit hard to follow and I found myself have to reread it a few times to understand but some simple rewordings should fix it. There are also some situations that I was wondering if the tone was unbiased. Like mentioned above, you need to careful in using such heavy adjectives when describing players, coaches, seasons, etc.. You might also want to find some more credible sources if at all possible.

Overall great job. With a few tweaks this article should be a great fit into wikipedia.

Great Job! I think you get a lot of information across very effectively in this article. I also really love your use of images and their placement. They aren't overwhelming but they still add just enough color and diversity to the article. I would suggest a bit more diversity in the formating of the article. Maybe create a broader Coaches section which encompases the era charts. Speaking of the era charts, I thought this was a very solid way of getting across a lot of information quickly and efficiently. They make the info easier to digest and put into perspective. Finally, I think that some of the information in the History section could be put into a sub category about awards or recognition. This might make the organization of your page look more professional. Wonderful job you guys! Styonsk (talk) 20:21, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this page did a great job of describing UNC Lacrosse from its start as a club team to the present day (2020 season). I do agree with some of the other users and would add better images. I also would add ina section stating the current team roster. Other than that, great job with this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aronsonhd19972021 (talkcontribs) 15:58, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
