Westbury not entirely in N. Hemostead?[edit]

According to Town of Hempstead, NY wikipedia page, the Salisbury section of Westbury is part of the town of Hempstead, and presumably not part of the town of N. Hempstead. Other villages in the N. Hempstead list that are partially in N. Hempstead and partially not, have notations on the N. Hempstead page. Should Westbury have a notation too? I have no idea of an authoritative source for the info on the Internet. I guess you'd need to contact the Westbury village government to ask.

Anyone around who considers themselves to "own" this North Hempstead page?

Salisbury, Nassau County, New York is a hamlet south of the Village of Westbury. Postal, school, library, water, fire districts, villages, and CDPs SELDOM follow the same boundaries. The articles on wikipedia are primarily about the areas as defined by the census bureau. Hamlets have no official status at any level of government and so no definite boundaries. --JimWae (talk) 19:26, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wishing for a more detailed map[edit]

Could a less crude map be found that shows Great Neck, Cow Neck, Lake Success, etc? Jim.henderson 15:00, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
