Started the article[edit]

I started this article by copying Southern Celestial Hemisphere and transposing all mentions of "south(ern)" to "north(ern)" and vice versa. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 09:31, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Somewhat nonsensical disambiguation statement.[edit]

"This article is about the use of the term in astronomy-related sky observations and mapping. For use of the term in describing astronomical bodies, see Northern Hemisphere."

This makes no sense.Lathamibird (talk) 07:07, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I made a new hatnote, hopefully clearer. If nothing else, the existence of a hatnote in itself should prompt people into picking the right article. Lithopsian (talk) 21:10, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Caps[edit]

Is the capitalisation correct for this title? Is Northern Celestial Hemisphere a proper name? Or is it simply a descriptive term: northern celestial hemisphere? Lithopsian (talk) 16:44, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Moved. I don't think it is controversial, but here's the place to come if you think so. There is still Southern Celestial Hemisphere which looks like it wants the same treatment. Link-chasing also brought to light Northern sky (redirect to here), Northern Sky (a song), and Northern Sky (song) (not the same song as Northern Sky!) which really need some disambiguation and possibly renaming themselves. There is also Northern Sky Theater and Northern Sky Lark (sic) for any disambiguation page. Lithopsian (talk) 21:09, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
