Morrow County[edit]

I just realized that Morrow County is part of the Metro Columbus area, which to me means it should in no way be considered part of NW Ohio. Marion County is also part of the combined Columbus area, so I wouldn't include it there either. This is just what I think, I included them in the map because they can be considered part of the region to a small extent. What do others think? Frank12 02:53, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger[edit]

I want to know what people think of perhaps merging Northwest Ohio, Extreme Northwest Ohio, and what used to be Northeast Ohio into a Northern Ohio article. The Northeast Ohio article was merged into Greater Cleveland, but we can use some of that information on this new proposed article. Anyone have any opinions? Agree. Clevelandmusic24 (talk) 17:07, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that Extreme Northwest Ohio should be merged with Northwest Ohio, but I don't think that they should be merged with norhteast ohio to create an article called Northern Ohio. My reason being that there is NO area called Northern Ohio. There is a map somewhere on Wikipedia oulining the different regions in Ohio but I can't remember where it's at.History Wizard (talk) 20:32, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree on keeping them separate. Northwest and Northeast Ohio are defined as areas with those names, and even culturally they would agree they're somewhat different (essentially where the Midwest and the Northeast meet). I'm ok merging Extreme NWO with NW Ohio though, I've heard people speak of Extreme NWO, but for the most part that corner of the state is just Northwest Ohio. Since no one has disagreed with the merger, I'm going to go ahead and merge the two articles (Extreme Northwest with Northwest). History Wizard (talk) 17:38, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
