Issue with Removal section[edit]

(This initial comment below was taken from the original protection request I filed and was a response from Codename Lisa.) -- Dane talk 00:54, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

what I deleted (and the sock is reverting) is synthesis of published material, to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources. One reviewer observed one single instance in which a shared component was not automatically removed. Does it happen always or was it just in that particular case? We don't know. And yet the article goes on to say "Norton 2008 and previous versions include a separate LiveUpdate component, which must be separately uninstalled, or removed using the Norton Removal Tool." Where is "and previous versions" in the source? Where is "or removed using the Norton Removal Tool"?

I agree with the above statements - this is WP:SYNTH and should be removed. -- Dane talk 00:54, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.
I also said this is a sock's doing and must no be dignified with an analysis. Well, it is true. This certain wiki-hound has been chasing me around Wikipedia for years, thinking he can bother me. In those early years, he used to report me to WP:AN3 for edit warring. None of the admins were deceived though.
I have been collecting a full record of his doings over different IP addresses. I will provide it to any admin who demands it, but as I understand, it is against the policy (or at least, is bad form) to provide it to non-admins.
Best regards,
