links[edit]

The external links at the bottom included a link that is in effect an advertisment for a local firm of real estate agents. Nice people, I know them vaguely, but this is not appropriate in a Wikipedia article. -- update, links for two firms, I have removed them. CharlesKiddell (talk) 15:09, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I really want to start a debate, but n-d-g.com actually contains loads of info on the neighbourhood, how it developed, etc, along with a bunch of old pictures. It is, indeed, a real estate agent's promotional website, but essentially I see it as a website on the history of the neighbourhood, along with that guy's face and phone number on each page. I'd keep it, if you agree. Saintamh (talk) 15:59, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm restoring the link as it seems quite useful.--MTLskyline (talk) 05:41, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Street names[edit]

I noticed someone has been adding a list of street names (and what they are named for) in the article. I am not sure that this is overly encyclopedic, and believe that it is too detailed for an article on the neighbourhood of NDG. Most of the streets are not significant enough to merit their own articles either (which would be the place to put information behind their names).--MTLskyline (talk) 06:37, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree, the more information on the subject, the better. I for one found it to be one of the most interesting sections of the whole article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.187.85.40 (talk) 18:47, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
