I understand the use of a link to the EU importers may have been the cause for deletion. I have removed the link and contest the deletion as the only content on important historical beverage (Champagne is allowed wiki page) in English language on internet.

A google search brings little information about one of the founders of the champagne technique. Many source I was planning to use I decided not to as they did not meet the source criteria for wiki and so I did not include the information from them that was originally in my article.

I will locate new acceptable sources for information on how Golitisn worked with Chandon to create the technique for making champagne, however, they are unlikely to be in English as it is a Russian historical event and not widely known outside Russia.

Will wiki accept Russian language sources for this article? 13:41, 20 September 2007 Dissemination88

In principle Russian sources are fine, but English language ones are preferred as it's much easier for English-speaking Wikipedians to check them. FlagSteward 15:53, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PROD[edit]

Think it's a bit harsh to PROD this - the issue is not so much the notability per se (Dissemination88 showed that fairly well, albeit unsourced) as about the need for a copyedit and proper referencing. It was trivial to get a decent source for the stuff about being served at the Tsar's coronation, I've replaced the PROD with a cleanup tag. FlagSteward 15:53, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

As I suspected, this edit was performed by User:Messir azazello https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Novyi_Svit_(winery)&diff=next&oldid=207974144

He has also edited other wiki articles to add badlinks to the sudak russian women website. The entire website appears designed to capitalize on wikipedia spammery by adding google credibility / extra PPC revenue. I am forming a complaint against the user.
