What Investment?[edit]

Article states "In April 2022, the Federal government announced a $6 billion SUBSIDY program targeting the seven plants scheduled for closure as well as others at-risk of closure, to attempt to ENCOURAGE them to continue operating.[132] It will be funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act" passed in November 2021.[132]"

What kind of investment is that? $6B could build two NEW nuclear plants without any subsidy. We need more new nuke plants if there is any "carbon-neutral" future. It might we money to keep current plants alive. or just probably pay for the cost of decommissioning. Add states to the table of plants?[edit]

I think there should be a state column in the table of plants on this article, so it is easier to find them geographically. NRC Regions would work as well, but those are a little too technical. Also, people have different definitions of what the "midwest" is, perhaps different than the NRC, making it difficult to find plants by NRC region.

As a side note, this table isn't listed in the "Lists of nuclear power stations" box at the bottom of this article, which also has bad View/Talk/Edit links. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_power_stations WPL_XB70 (talk) 15:30, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the list is transcluded from List of commercial nuclear reactors#United States. There is no state column to keep the table consistent with the rest of the article. --Ita140188 (talk) 14:18, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
