meaning of name?[edit]

"cimento" --> substantive from the verb "cimentare" / "cimentarsi" :

According to what I found on online dictionaries, it means ``new trial", ``new endeavour", ``new experiment" or ``new ordeal". Personally, only as a native English speaker, I've always thought of it, humorously, as just "New Cement". But knowing that Fermi published in the journal, I think that it's probably meant to suggest New Result or New Report (of a scientific nature) - which covers trials, experiments etc. PaulGEllis (talk) 15:17, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
