Great start on the article! One thing that stuck out to me was on the plant section. Elaborate on "higher plants," I understand what you mean, but others may not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spencer.Schulz (talkcontribs) 05:11, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Making this page more current[edit]

I am a graduate student working on nutrient sensing and signaling. I aim to update this page with specific differences in mechanisms of nutrient sensing between lower (eg. yeast) and higher (plants and multicellular) eukaryotes. I may also add a section on bacterial nutrient sensing eventually. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amogh.jalihal (talkcontribs) 05:59, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review.[edit]

The article is well well written, and I like the citations and how they are active links. There was one source where the link was broken or not working. In the "Types of Nutrients in Plants" section, you have K & P, it be nice to somehow mark that they're symbols from the periodic table, or you can simply spell out the compound for any non scientific reader. I think it would be great if the brain and gut section had some more information, and maybe you're looking into that? Other than that the article is legit and I didn't notice any grammatical errors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dawood34 (talkcontribs) 06:20, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
