NVSRAM VS NVDIMM Power consumption[edit]

I am looking for information NVSRAM VS NVDIMM Power consumption and cannot find it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.108.195.249 (talk) 06:43, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why there is no comparison with NVDIMM, which has the same principal 193.108.195.249 (talk) 05:59, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like the name of dedicated product[edit]

I checked the product site of Cypress Semiconductor. I found that nvSRAM is not a memory type, but just a combination of 6-transistor RAM, SONOS cross sectional structure based non-volatile memory, real-time clock, etc. SONOS structure is a very old technology, which is realized in mid '70s. The nvSRAM might be a product name of Cypress Semiconductor.

I found other citations.[edit]

I apologize for my latest discussion because I found 2 other books which describe nvSRAM. So, "nvSRAM" is a general word.

Anyway, each implementation depend on vendor's choice. There are no in general ROHS compliant, operational frequency, and other Pros & Cons trade-offs. Some semiconductor vendors call nvRAM structure itself as EEPROM, especially in the world of microcontrollers. Cafeduke (talk) 03:18, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
