Most Important Rodin Collection[edit]

This article states that the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is considered the most important collection of Rodin's work outside of France, however the article for the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia states that it (the Rodin Museum) is the largest outside of Paris... Only one of these can be true, and neither are cited. Anyone have any citations?

Well, there is a difference between importance and size. For example the Philadelphia museum could have more statues, but all of them small or insignificant works (only an example). I have tried a bit of Googling, but I can not find anything that claims that the Glyptoek has the largest Rodin collection outside of France. I have found several sources (for example this one, in Danish only though) that states that the museum holds 33 works by Rodin (15 in bronze, 11 marble, 5 plaster and 2 in limestone). So if you can find a comparable list for the Philadelphia museum it should be a step in the way to find out which claim is the correct one. --Saddhiyama (talk) 16:06, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
