why doesnt he have a first name? This article probably needs to be shortened a little.Seth J. Frantzman 17:42, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why should he have a first name? Many Afghans have only a single name. During the last Afghan Presidential election one of the two leading candidates was a guy who the western press usually names "Dr Abdullah Abdullah". But, like Obaidullah, he only has a single name, Abdullah. Geo Swan (talk) 02:27, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

page move[edit]

I plan to move the page to Obaidullah. Not sure where the other name has his origin. The attached source of the DoD in the first sentence also uses Obaidullah as well the secondary sources like the NYT's and others. I did a carefull checking of multiply secondary sources and plan to move the page. Any objection? IQinn (talk) 06:17, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just notice Obaidullah is already used for another article. Let's think of some solution. IQinn (talk) 06:20, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
