Why list basins? It is good to see the scope of oceanic basins, to organize them by region something that the category does not do, and it allows quick access. --Bejnar (talk) 02:55, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bimodal hypsography[edit]

"Earth is the only known solar planet with bimodal hypsography expressed as different kinds of crust" - what do we mean to say here? Do we mean to say bimodal hypsographies do not exist on other planets, because that simply isn't true. Mars has a bimodal hypsography, see Mars and Earth topography: a preliminary comparative analysis.
