Recent history is wrong[edit]

The Odeon Haymarket was a small cinema actually on Haymarket. It did indeed close down in about 1996-7.

The cinema in the photo is on Panton Street, a road between Leicester Square and Haymarket. It was there from at least the 1970s. It was called the Cinecenta in the 1980s, then was an ABC in the Nineties, then became the Odeon Panton Street. It closed down for a bit then reopened as the Odeon Luxe Haymarket in about 2017.

You can pull up pictures on google easily enough, or check out cinematreasures.org. Paulturtle (talk) 04:58, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Paulturtle: Thanks, my mistake for taking the previous version of the article at face value, which opened by calling it "ODEON Luxe Haymarket" in the first sentence. I've moved the article back to Odeon Haymarket and corrected the content. --Lord Belbury (talk) 08:03, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
