Merge with 'Tulsa'[edit]

Should not this page be merged with 'Tulsa, USA'? As Tulsa is not actually the 'Oil Capital of the World', this title is only a nickname used by a (relatively) small number of people to refer to the city of Tulsa. Thus the subject 'O.C. of the W.' is very much secondary to the city 'Tulsa' and should be presented as such. kimdino (talk) 16:28, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • No, this article is about the concept of an "oil capital of the world" and discusses (and sources) the historical use of the concept by Cleveland, Houston, and other places as well as Tulsa. --Arxiloxos (talk) 16:39, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
