Dead ancestors[edit]

There are two paragraphs here about La Farge's long-dead ancestors. As interesting as they are to genealogists and descendents of the family, they don't really have a place in an encyclopedia article which should focus on La Farge himself, his work in Mexico, his writing and his life in the southwest. Who is Ford?[edit]

"The action was commanded by Colonel Bernt Balchen, a native of Norway with US citizenship as well, and experience in survival and fighting in the North. Balcher, together with Ford and Major Oliver La Farge, another American writer who had participated in the action, wrote...."

Who is Ford in this sentence? Also, I think this would sound better: Belcher, Ford and La Farge wrote...." Rissa, copy editor (talk) 03:50, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
