Source[edit]

I found a source for the White Squirrel section, but I'm not much of a Wikipedian, so I'll put it here: http://www.ci.olney.il.us/Visitors/WhiteSquirrel.htm —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.63.238.4 (talk) 17:24, 3 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Reference added, tag removed. Thanks for that. : ). IvoShandor 08:11, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Update: URL has been moved to [1]. The ref has been updated and properly cited. - M0rphzone (talk) 02:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people section[edit]

I removed Butch Lockley from this section because he does not have his own Wikipedia article which is required to establish notability. The information I removed is: Butch Lockley, Survivor: The Amazon contestant and 4th place finisher. Former Elementary School Principal at ERES

source of white squirrels[edit]

This seems to be a nonsequitur: " The first is that in 1902 William Stroup was out hunting and shot a gray female squirrel. The shot knocked the two babies out of a nest, and he brought them home to his children. They were later sold to Jasper Banks, who put them on display in front of his saloon. " What has this to do with WHITE squirrels? 211.225.33.104 (talk) 06:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

adding a government section[edit]

You guys should add a government section to the Olney, Illinois article. Arek333 (talk) 06:00, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

White squirrels[edit]

Sourced (appropriately-lengthened) mention should be made of the white squirrels for which Onley is arguably most-famous. SecretName101 (talk) 05:40, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
