Change from "metal polish" to "Sterno"[edit]

Lugnuts,

The statement in the review, "happiness achieved...by a shared squeeze from a can of metal polish." Is flat out wrong. I have never heard of anyone drinking metal polish. However, drinking the alcohol squeezed out of a can of Sterno was quite common. Since this reference is within a quotation, it would not be right to change it directly. So, I inserted an editorial comment. This is indicated by it being enclosed by square brackets instead of parentheses.

You say, "so what" and "not encyclopedic, poor formatting, redundant, shall I go on?"

Yes, please. I would appreciate a further explanation of your objection.

There is nothing wrong with the version you proposed, provided the reference is given. I would however prefer not to break the flow, and use a footnote for the same effect. Rich Farmbrough, 11:47, 20 March 2013 (UTC).[reply]
