  • I would write that Beyonce is a performer, not singer.
 Not done - I can do this, but it seems a bit iffy. She is a singer first and foremost, just as Jay-Z is a rapper. It is up to you here. ThirdWard (talk) 23:43, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
She's not just a singer, though. Because she is a dancer, choreographer etc. all the things that she does with the show, it's more accurate to say performer for Beyonce. If it was Mariah, you would say singer and songwriter. If it was Celine, you would say singer. If it was Rihanna, you would say recording artist.  — ₳aron 09:45, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
