Note on the obvious:[edit]

Since this can’t go into the article, but still has to be mentioned: OpenGL++ was (quite obviously too) yet another victim of the company, well-know, and endlessly convicted of what can only be called corporate serial murder/avataring, named Microsoft. Like Netscape, like Borland, like (mostly) Sun, like SCO, like Nokia, etc. In this case, it was part of their goal, to kill off OpenGL, and replace it with DirectX, which is under their control.
