Possible copyright violation[edit]

Most of the text of this article is copied verbatim from openjpeg.org [1]]. Do we have permission to use this text, or is there some other justification for its inclusion? Assuming no response in a week, I'll blank the article and add a copyvio notice. —smably 02:10, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than blanking and adding a copyvio notice, why not just delete the offending material, write a short introductory sentence, and include the external links so that it can be expanded. Pages with copyvio notices tend not to get fixed, but short pages are more likely to be added to. Qutezuce 21:37, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've been unable to open a page using the openjpeg link, though I have opened openjpeg.com.69.6.162.160 23:44, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Brian Pearson[reply]

Possible Adverisment[edit]

the reference to intopix added in April 2011 looks like advertisment to me. While it seems that company sells some J2k related services, it looks like they don't provide any J2k library. However being an IP right now I leave it someone logged in to take actions. 77.5.242.143 (talk) 18:32, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
