The article is supported by a single source. All of this could just be merged into the 1980s section on the Redskins article. If you want to start a proper AfD, then go ahead, but I don't see any way this stays. ~ Dissident93 ^(talk) 03:01, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Preparations[edit]

The Washington Redskins did not make the playoffs despite winning this game. They lost in a tiebreaker to the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers based on the conference record tiebreaker.
