Redirect[edit]

Shouldn't Operation Grand Slam redirect to Goldfinger automatically? As far as I know, everyone knows of Operation Grand Slam as being Goldfinger's plot in the movie of the same name.(Myscrnnm 20:57, 11 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Weasel Words[edit]

I'm relatively new to editing, but did all I could to remove potentially biased phrasing. The one case I wasn't sure about is the beginning of the "Conclusion" section, which starts "Analysts on both sides of the border believe..." I was unable to find the source that this statement references, so as of now the claim remains unsubstantiated (except in the External Links, I assume). Because it is an important point, I didn't want to remove it completely, but can somebody help out with this? Thanks. Fred.Pendleton (talk) 19:43, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

map used is incorrect[edit]

the map used here does not depict the original CEASE FIRE LINE as on 1.1.1965.the loc came into existence in 1972 after shimla agreement.hence does not help in proper positioning and must be discarded Pastbirth (talk) 17:48, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unverifiable information[edit]

This article doesn't provide verifiable information. None of the info has citation apart from the book mention. But IMHO that alone shouldn't be a valid source or single source of truth. It is "verifiable", but not yet sourced. To add a dubious tag, you need to state what you find dubious.

Hi Kautilya3,

I was unable to find any source that validates the information. Hence marked as dubious. The only places i could find where other wiki pages on other websites having theberxact same content.

Please check Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, of which this topic is a part. There are plenty of sources listed there. Tags like "dubious" or "citation needed" should be used for particular sentences, not entire sections.
