Page move[edit]

The current name is inaccurate: the location of the raid was Greenacres Caravan Park, Gypsy Lane, Little Billington, Beds., about 4 miles south of Leighton Buzzard. It also isn't exactly a "case" yet, but still an ongoing investigation. Arrests may have taken place but there have been no charges. It is part of the long-running, multi-agency investigation - Operation Netwing - involving Bedfordshire Police, the local authority, health authority and the Human Trafficking Centre at SOCA.[1][2][3][4] Operation Netwing is also far less sensationalist, as well as being more accurate. Agree to the Page Move for the reasons given. It is also clear the operation is part of a UK wide if not Europe wide investigation which has been running for some time prior to the events at the Caravan Park. There would be advantage in providing a redirect from 'Greenacres Caravan Park' as the Code Name of the operation has not been given wide coverage. The point about the Page Move proposal is that the primary article name is Operation Netwing and if actioned the redirect would automatically be the current one. Anthony, can I politely suggest you revert changes. Tmol42 (talk) 16:07, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Previously reported cases of enslavement on Traveller sites[edit]

I have reorganised the reports of other caes, splitting those presumed related to Operation Netwing and other previous reported cases. I do however have some misgivings about including previous cases which do not relate to Operation Netwing and may or may not have been proven as done to enslavement. There is a danger of cataloging numerous cases which are historical and not directly related. Should these be excluded to avoid the article spreading from its purpose? Perhaps it being sufficient to mention that there have been previous such cases? Comments please. Tmol42 (talk) 14:41, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

At least for now - the whole slavery/servitude thing is about to become much larger, I think - they could be retained on this page. In isolation they probably don't merit articles of their own, but at least here they serve to add an understanding of the context in which the Netwing raid took place.
