Merge into Mosasauria[edit]

Ophidiomorpha is highly controversial and only supported in few studies. It's not notable enough to warrant its own article when it can simply be discussed in Mosasauria or snake, and plus it also creates more bias towards this hypothesis to the expense of the other snake evolution hypotheses.
