Time travellers order?[edit]

This article makes no sense. How could they recruit people for nazi party in 1900?

Clarifying the occult roots of völkisch nationalism[edit]

The description of the ideology of this group, in its current form, gives the impression that this order located itself in the Catholic tradition — but this is not the case.

Like the broader Völkisch movement, its spiritual themes were drawn not from Christianity but from the German occult revival of 1880–1910. This is what made possible the ideological fusion of mysticism and scientific racism: as evidenced by the adoption of the Swastika, German nationalists attempted to revive or synthesise a religious tradition as an alternative to Christianity, the Jewish origins of which made for a great degree of cognitive dissonance. Hindu spiritualism appealed to them for this reason.
