Prayer in the celestial room?[edit]

The article says "the Celestial Room is a profoundly quiet and reverent place, where individuals may pause to pray, meditate, and discuss amongst themselves." On the contrary I have heard that prayer, especially kneeling to pray, is discouraged in celestial rooms, and that people are ushered out within a few minutes of completing their ordinance in any case. If celestial rooms are intended for prayer this needs a source. Beorhtwulf (talk) 23:34, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Beorhtwulf, based on information the church indicates here (https://www.lds.org/temples/what-is-temple-endowment?lang=eng) (particularly the wording between the 1st and 2nd interior pictures), prayer is an acceptable activity in the celestial room. I believe you have heard correctly on the kneeling prayer, but not the lack of it, nor the ushering out of the room quickly. ChristensenMJ (talk) 00:00, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I've used that link to source the statement about prayer. Beorhtwulf (talk) 00:06, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
