Body size and mass[edit]

There is no data regarding body mass. If this species’ maximum length is 17 ft (5.2m), how can it be considered as the third largest reptile, considering its mass doesn’t exceed 1,400 pounds according to this article. It falls short in terms of size and mass to American Crocodile, Black Caiman, Leatherback Sea Turtle and also The Gharial. :( Adpr99 (talk) 17:39, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Potentially Incorrect Image Used[edit]

To whomever is reading this, hello. This is my first time using the Wikipedia talk page, so bear with me. I believe that one of the images used in this article, specifically https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/86/Crocodylus_intermedius_01.jpg/1920px-Crocodylus_intermedius_01.jpg , is misidentified as an Orinoco Crocodile. I am not an expert herpetologist or anything, but having seen and photographed every recognized species of crocodilian, I believe that the animal pictured here is actually some kind of Caiman, likely the Spectacled caiman . The anatomical features of the animal in this image don't seem to match those of an Orinoco Crocodile. 2601:346:E00:E40:30C7:2A56:F2A2:73DA (talk) 02:40, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like BhagyaMani has taken care of this. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:40, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is my fiirst time using a Wikipedia talk page too so have mercy, but the image is up again. I also noticed the animal is question being a caiman due to the non-presence of the iconic "fourth tooth" jutting out of the lower jaw. Would love to see the image get replaced.
