Should[edit]

Should the "non-hormonal" comment be taken out? There are no artifical hormones in it, but it does effect your hormones. Le film 21:02, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It should not be removed. The existing description makes it clear that ormeloxifene directly affects the hormonal system. The comment "non-hormonal" is there to differentiate ormeloxifene from hormonal contraceptives. Joie de Vivre 17:39, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"pregnancy rate" rather than "failure rate"[edit]

Note discussion at Talk:Birth control#"pregnancy rate" rather than "failure rate" re replacing occurrences of "failure rate" with "pregnancy rate". I would also like to see the same change on this page. Please make any comments there. --Coppertwig 04:02, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Weight gain parameter in infobox[edit]

I would like to treat this parameter the same on all the hormonal contraception articles. Please read my opinion and discuss this issue at Talk:Combined oral contraceptive pill#Weight parameter in infobox. LyrlTalk C 21:30, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

External links on Wikipedia are supposed to be "encyclopedic in nature" and useful to a worldwide audience. Please read the external links policy (and perhaps the specific rules for medicine-related articles) before adding more external links.

The following kinds of links are inappropriate:

  • Online discussion groups or chat forums
  • Personal webpages and blogs
  • Multiple links to the same website
  • Fundraising events or groups
  • Websites that are recruiting for clinical trials
  • Websites that are selling things (e.g., books or memberships)

I realize that some links are helpful to certain users, but they still do not comply with Wikipedia policy, and therefore must not be included in the article. WhatamIdoing (talk) 07:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Typical Use[edit]

I would like to know if anyone has any information on what would be the result of user error for the typical use failure rates. I personally can't think of any as this pill is taken once a week. Unless someone misses a week? I believe this info would be beneficial to the article DSantomauro (talk) 13:08, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moved from article[edit]

I have moved the following content here because it lacks context/explanation. If anyone wants to use it to improve the article, here it is. -- Ed (Edgar181) 22:16, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong structur depiction[edit]

As their is also a wiki article about Levormeloxifene wouldn't it be more accurate to choose a pic of the structure without the natta projection?

Then it would like the structure at the pubchem article (https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/Ormeloxifene) because now this article and the Levormeloxifene article has the same structral pic, just bottom to top and horizontally flipped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BoulevardPtA (talkcontribs) 14:22, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
