Two New Paragraphs on Life[edit]

The two new paragraphs are great additions. The key facts should be referenced; it sounds as if some of this material may have come from an off-line publication--if so, it should be cited and perhaps quoted. Also, the first and only mention of his wife, Johanna, should have her maiden name---it is especially confusing since his mother and his wife, according to the new text, have the same first name.
